You’re in charge of the itinerary as you take to Stockholm’s picturesque waterways for a kayak or stand-up paddle board sightseeing adventure. Just pick up your paddle and life jacket on the jetty and get ready for a fun tour of the city’s fine waterside attractions.
You could while away an hour or two paddling the calm waters off the shores of Långholmen and Reimersholme, with their secluded sandy beaches and lush woodlands.
Or take a longer excursion around Lilla and Stora Essingen or down through Årstaviken bay to Södermalm's glorious southern beaches and pretty promenade.
If it’s city center attractions you seek, paddle east along Riddarfjärden to the Art Nouveau tower of the City Hall and, if you have the energy, beyond to the many waterside sights at Djurgården, including the imposing Nordic and Vasa museums, and the historic amusement park that is the mighty Gröna Lund.
