Overview
Visit Rome’s most famous masterpieces alongside an engaging English-speaking guide who will share the history of the landmarks, tales of the Roman Empire, myths, and legends.
Alongside the main historical sights, you will discover some hidden gems and local treasures.
Together, you will stroll through Piazza Navona, a majestic square synonymous with Rome and its artistry and architecture. Here, you will find Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers. This masterpiece was designed in Ancient Rome, inspired by the Stadium of Domitian, which hosted athletic events and games.
Explore the outside of the Pantheon, a magnificent temple dedicated to all Roman deities. It famously inspired Michaelangelo, who declared it the work of angels and not humans. The Pantheon is widely considered to be one of the world’s most beautifully preserved ancient temples.
Of course, you will see the famous Trevi fountain, a symbol of Baroque grandeur. Inspired by Neptune, the sea god, the Trevi fountain is surrounded by water-themed sculptures and is fed by an Ancient Roman aqueduct, the Acqua Vergine.
Throw a coin into the Trevi fountain and make a wish –according to legend, you'll return to Rome one day!
