Parc Astérix is the fantastical theme park based on René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo’s much-beloved comic book series The Adventures of Astérix (Astérix le Gaulois in French).
Complete with hair-raising rollercoasters, wonderfully decorated attractions, indoor and outdoor activities and simply irresistible shows that combine stunts, clever effects, magic, humor, and special encounters… the whole family will be thrilled by a day of riotous fun! In fact, this is France’s second-most visited theme park after Disneyland Paris.
Comprising 42 sensational attractions across the site, Parc Astérix allows you to travel back in time to the cartoon worlds of Gaul and the Roman Empire, Ancient Greece, the Vikings, Medival times, and more!. You’ll find Astérix’s friends Obelix, his faithful dog Dogmatix, the druid Getafix, the beautiful Panacea and many other characters from the comics that feature throughout the park.
