Could anything be more romantic than a sunset cruise on the Seine, sipping champagne and taking in up-close views of the Eiffel Tower?
Your one-hour cruise sets the tone with relaxed onboard music, creating a laid-back apéritif atmosphere as you glide along the river. There’s no live commentary, but you can download the free Vedettes de Paris app for information about the monuments you’ll see on the cruise.
Otherwise, relax, raise your glass and take in the stunning views as you pass beneath world-famous bridges including the Pont Alexandre III – with its soaring arch, ornate cherubs and grand art deco lamps – and its neighbor the Pont des Invalides, the Seine’s lowest bridge.
You’ll also see some of the City of Light’s best-known landmarks, including the medieval spires and towers of gothic Notre-Dame, and the Louvre Museum, which is particularly atmospheric when lit up in the evening.
The boat’s bar is open throughout your trip, with snacks and refreshments available.
