Overview

This immersive sensory journey will make you question everything you know about the five senses. As you'll soon learn, at the Museum of Senses Madrid, nothing is as it seems!

Intriguing installations play with your sense of perception and balance. Walk through gravity-defying spaces, trick your brain with optical illusions, listen to sounds that seem to come from impossible places, and feel how your body reacts to all sorts of different stimuli.

There are over 50 mind-bending exhibits at the Museum of Senses Madrid, from mirror mazes to levitating water and vortex tunnels. Do you dare lie down on the bed of a thousand nails?

You’ll get a special Sense Kit, including a pair of socks to wear around the museum, so you can explore floors with different textures, and a Taste Box with some treats to sample in the taste-focused rooms.

With every sensational room designed to evoke surprise and activate at least one sense, the Museum of Senses Madrid is fun, educational, and very surprising. Throughout your visit, you’ll learn all about how your perception works and why, in many cases, your brain interprets reality differently from what’s actually going on.

At the intersection of science, psychology, and entertainment, the Museum of Senses is perfect for visitors of all ages who want to try something new in Madrid. Get carried away on your sensory journey, question the obvious, and rediscover how you perceive the world around you.

Audio quality was sharper than usual for this kind of ticket. Plenty of time to explore afterward, would recommend budgeting a little buffer after for souvenirs.

Helpful crew and clear instructions. Photo spots were thoughtfully spaced along the route, we left with clearer context on the venue’s history. (Helpful contrasts with nearby attractions.)
