Overview
Illuminate your Vegas trip with a visit to the Neon Museum. This quirky outdoor museum features over 250 signs from Las Vegas’ history, with 27 fully functional, awe-inspiring signs that have been restored and lit.
Vegas is known for its vibrant signs that welcome visitors and wave them off. Each one represents a moment of Vegas history and culture. In this museum, you can learn about the story behind each neon sign, from the people who created it to its original purpose.
You’ll enjoy unique photo opportunities, visit the outdoor exhibition space known as the Neon Boneyard, the North Gallery, which features “Brilliant! Jackpot,” and the immersive audiovisual experience that animates over 40 non-operational signs.
Explore the Las Vegas Luminaries mural, which features diverse Vegas characters, from showgirls to champions of civil rights.
The Neon Museum’s expansive collection chronicles the changes and trends in sign design and technology from the 1930s to today.
The Museum also has a collection of 16 special restored signs installed across downtown Las Vegas – so you can try to spot them after your visit!
Founded in 1996, The Neon Museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museum, the highest national honor for museums in the United States. In 2021, it was ranked in Travel + Leisure’s 27 Best Museums in the U.S.
