Overview

After a short safety briefing, and when you're snug in a life jacket and ready to go, you'll be assigned your own personal Sea Camel mini speedboat: these snazzy high-tech watercraft are equipped with Bluetooth sound systems, so be sure to get your playlists sorted in advance so you can blare out your top bangers as you glide along the water.

The boats are pretty user-friendly, so you'll feel like a confident skipper in no time. Follow your guide past luxury villas and resorts inside the protected waters of Palm Jumeirah, then pass under the east bridge to exit into the Arabian Gulf and get ready to really put these Sea Camels to the test... Here you'll get to push the throttle to the max and zoom through the sea towards Burj Al Arab, your first destination.

Slow down to take in the impressive silhouette of this sail-shaped wonder: the world's only 7-star hotel, this towering structure sits pretty at 321m and lights up the Dubai sky. Moving along the shoreline, you'll pass by the palaces of the royal family. The tour will then take you past the private Logo Island, owned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. You will also see the Sheikh’s private mega yacht, the second largest in the world (and rather prosaically named ‘Dubai’), moored behind the island.

On your way back to base, you'll follow the crescent of Palm Jumeirah, passing by luxury hotels such as Rixos, Anantara and Waldorf Astoria, before arriving back at Dubai Harbour.
