Overview
This fantastic trip packs in so much of the Netherlands’ history, culture, and heritage into one single day!
On your trip from Amsterdam to The Hague, witness the picturesque Dutch landscape and enjoy the charm of Dutch hospitality.
You’ll head straight to Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second city, known as an important financial and commercial center, where glimmering skyscrapers, built in quirky, cutting-edge styles, tower over the huge and buzzing harbor - the largest in Europe.
Next, it’s a quick dash to Delft, a picturesque and historic city known for its ceramics industry. Discover Delft’s historic town center crisscrossed with canals, on your free time over lunch, then enjoy a visit to a factory specializing in handmade Delft Blue pottery, the most coveted porcelain since the 17th century.
Then, you’ll swing by The Hague for a city tour. In addition to being the seat of the Dutch government, this city is also the home of the Dutch royal family and the third-largest city in the country. It is also the home of the Peace Palace, a number of royal palaces, the famous Mauritshuis (featuring works by Vermeer, Rembrandt, Andy Warhol, and more), and the stunning waterside Binnenhof - the meeting place of the Dutch government.
This fun-packed day trip is led by a friendly and knowledgeable guide who will let you in on all there is to know about the wonderful cities and sights you discover on the journey.
